Nestled in a private part of the lake, this cottage offers privacy, a safe grassy play area for people of all ages and a 130 ft sandy shoreline. This cottage has plenty of room to accomodate 12 people on beds and is a perfect getaway at the right price.
Siddon lake offers ample fishing for people with little or no experience, to the avid fisherman. This natural spring fed lake has bass, speckled trout and plenty of sunfish to keep the children excited.

Nestled in the York River Valley on the southern edge of the Canadian shield, Bancroft is about 3 hours west of Ottawa, 1 hour northeast of Peterborough and about 2.5 hours from Toronto.
Bancroft offers many natural wonders and activities to experience such as: snowmobiling, fishing, rock hounding, boating, horseback riding, golfing (9 and 18 hole), rock climbing, shopping, skiing, hiking & home to a brand new skate park. In the spring, there are local Sugar Bush camps, where one can watch maple syrup being made. Theres something for everyone no matter what the season!
A scenic cliff, named the Eagle's Nest, is a short distance north of the town. This cliff has a height of over 200ft, which overlooks the town of Bancroft, the York River valley, and other densely forest-covered ridges. In the winter 40ft icicles and ice, conceal parts of it entirely. Furthermore, a small gorge named Egans Chute, offers white water falls, with picturesque views.
